$100,000 worth of Items Up for Bid Online and in Person at BBB Silent Auction

CONTACT: Kent Pfalzer, BBB Event Coordinator–(859) 519-4712
Once again, Better Business Bureau Serving Central & Eastern Kentucky is the “What’s Up in Rupp?” Sponsor for the 2015 Central Kentucky Home, Garden & Flower Show! They will have great deals on quality, unique items and services that will be up for grabs at this year's BBB Silent Auction. Just like in years past, they will have items with a total value of around $100,000 that will be donated to the annual auction by their elite group of BBB Accredited Businesses.

"Our BBB Accredited Businesses have been very generous in their donations to our non-profit organization's popular auction," said Jack Frank, President & CEO of BBB Serving Central & Eastern Kentucky. "Those who visit either online or in person and then “BID TO WIN” at our auction can be assured that these quality products and services all come from reputable businesses that uphold the BBB ethical standards every day."

The BBB's Silent Auction will be set up in Rupp Arena and online. Proceeds benefit the BBB's services throughout its 64-county service area. There is something for everyone!

The silent auction will be live on the Internet with "e-Bay style" bidding during all four days of the Show. Bidders can log on to the BBB website at and follow the auction link to view photos and details of auction items once the auction goes “live” on Thursday. Credit card information is not necessary to place bids in person or online, however winning bidders may make secure credit card payment right over the Internet once the auction closes. Winning bids will be announced on Sunday evening, April 12th, the last day of the Auction.
